COMMISSIONS

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that the process of commissioning an artist to create a unique piece of work for your home or as a gift for a loved one, can be intimidating for buyers. Here is a bit below about the process of commissioning me:

Step 1: Your vision
I typically start by asking what it is you are envisioning for the work. Size, colours, materials… any details you have will help me determine a price and timeline estimate. Sometimes people will have seen a specific work of mine and want something similar. Or they have an empty wall and send me photos along with the wall size. Or sometimes they just have a particular colour they want and ask for that. If you have a particular budget in mind, you can let me know as well. We will discuss what you are looking for and if it is something I think I can do!

Step 2: Estimates
Once we have the general idea, I will provide a price and timeline estimate for the artwork.

Step 3: Deposit
I ask for 50% up front, which I will send through a paypal invoice. Once the deposit is paid, I will get started! Please note: I do not share in progress photos while creating the work as I feel it can hinder the creative process.

Step 4: Completed work
I will share photos of the completed work with you. If you are happy with the results, I will send you a final invoice for the remaining 50% + shipping. If you are not satisfied, I'm happy to refund you the initial invoice with the understanding that the artwork will become a part of my own collection to sell and exhibit.

Step 5: Shipping
Once final invoice is paid, I will ship the artwork to the preferred address that you provide and follow-up with a tracking code. And that’s it!
